Morgan kame to Harare in 1993, he was looking for a job. When he did not find a job, he started making canoes and
drums from wood, just like his father did. Because good wood was hard to find at that time, he started carving stone
in 1994. He always was inspired by his fathers work. He is a self tought sculptor, and is succesfull in that. His
favorite stone is Fruit serpentine, and he loves making abstracts an female figures.
Expositions:
Morgan's artwork can be seen in in Britain, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, the USA, Germany, France en
the Netherlands.
Special mentions:
In 2006 Morgan was one of the fnalists in the African Millennium Foundation's Young Sculptor of the Year 2006 competition.
He was chosen to make the trophies for the 2007 UN Equator Initiative Awards.
